About NuLeaf Naturals

NuLeaf Naturals is one of the most recognized CBD brands in the industry. Based in Denver, Colorado they started their CBD journey in 2014. Their vision is to pave the way for a line of cannabinoid wellness products that promote a healthy body and mind. Their ultimate goal is to help people and their loved ones live a happier, healthier life. That’s a beautiful goal I can get behind.

Hemp Source

Colorado State Flag

NuLeaf Naturals hemp is grown in Colorado using organic and sustainable farming practices. They don’t use any herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. They are one of the few CBD oil manufacturers with a cGMP certification, with a score of 100% on their audit.

Type of CBD

NuLeaf Naturals uses whole-plant extracts resulting in a high-quality full-spectrum product. They use a CO2 extraction method which is one of the safest and most effective ways to extract CBD. Their oil contains no additives or preservatives. They use an organic virgin hemp oil as the carrier.

Certificate of Analysis

NuLeaf Naturals is a company built on trust and transparency. As such, all NuLeaf Naturals products are third-party lab tested by ProVerde Laboratories to ensure a safe, consistent, and effective product. They test for cannabinoid profile, product shelf life, mold, mildew, fungus, yeast, mycotoxins, heavy metals, residual solvents, pesticides, and other harmful contaminants. After reviewing the lab results I did not find any red flags. So you can have some peace of mind knowing NuLeaf Naturals offers a safe and clean product.

You can find a certificate of analysis for every NuLeaf Naturals product. Each product has a batch number on the label. If you visit their batch report page you can look up the third-party lab results. For reference, you can look up the batch number from one the products I ordered: A951H3036.

Appearance, Taste, & Smell

NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil has a faint green appearance to it. Generally, the more processed a CBD oil is the lighter the color will be. Less processed CBD oils tend to be dark brown, gold, or green. It doesn’t have a cannabis smell or taste to it. If you’ve ever had hemp seed oil that’s what it kind of tastes like.

My dosage for this product has been around 50 mg. Whenever I take CBD oil, I hold it under my tongue for a good minute before swallowing. There are blood vessels and capillaries under our tongues that are able to absorb CBD. This allows the CBD to bypass our digestive system and go straight into our bloodstream. I usually take it around 5 pm and within a couple of hours the effects really start to kick in. The effects produce a euphoric, relaxing sensation throughout my body. It also makes my eyes feel very heavy with larger doses, making it a great oil for sleep.

NuLeaf Naturals offers 5 different strengths of CBD oil. As with most CBD oils out there, you pay less per mg the stronger the dose. These are the prices if you use the discount code CBDREVIEWLAB:

  • 240 mg: $31 – $.13/mg
  • 725 mg: $79 – $.11/mg
  • 1450 mg: $143 – $.10/mg
  • 2425 mg: $191 – $.08/mg
  • 4850 mg: $351 – $.07/mg

Other Products

The only other product NuLeaf Naturals offers now is a 240 mg pet tincture.

Will NuLeaf Naturals show up on a drug test?

While NuLeaf Naturals comes from the hemp plant and is federally legal, it is a full-spectrum product. This means that it contains 100+ cannabinoids, including a small amount of THC (less than .3%). So it’s quite possible you may fail a drug test if you use NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil.

If you are subject to drug testing, whether at work or for a sport, you should be cautious with all CBD products.

Ordering, Shipping & Return Policy

You can order NuLeaf Naturals on their website and in select stores. I had a very positive experience using their website. It is well designed and very easy to use. Since their products contain less than .3% THC, they ship to all 50 states. Unfortunately, they do not ship out of the United States. Orders are usually processed within a couple of days and will arrive within seven days depending on the time of year. All their products are well sealed and tamper proof. They allow returns for new, unused, and unopened products within 30 days delivery for a full refund. They require you to pay for the shipping for any returns. If the product you received is not the correct product or is defective, NuLeaf Naturals will refund the item as well as shipping costs.

One thing I would like to see is for NuLeaf Naturals pricing to go down. However, your money doesn’t go to waste with their oil. They offer a high-quality, effective CBD oil that works very well. Another (minor) issue I have with NuLeaf Naturals is their dosage amounts. It would be nice if they could figure out how to get their dosages to 250, 750, 1500, 2500, and 5000. Again, not a big deal. Just a personal preference.
