In this CBDistillery oil review, I’m going to give the rundown on CBDistillery’s 1,000 mg, full-spectrum CBD oil. We are going to look at where they source their hemp, type of CBD, certificate of analysis, appearance, taste, smell, effectiveness, price and more.
CBD Review Lab Rating
CBDistillery Discount Code:
CBDistillery’s products use non-GMO, industrial grown hemp. Their hemp is grown right here in the United States. CBDistillery is certified by the U.S. Hemp Authority, which was created in 2018 to help create standardization and quality assurance across the hemp industry.
Type of CBD
CBDistillery offers full-spectrum and isolate CBD oils. CBDistillery uses a CO2 extraction method to extract their oils from the hemp plant, which is one of the safest and most effective ways to extract CBD. They use fractionated coconut oil as a carrier oil and that’s it. No extra ingredients for flavor or color.
Certificate of Analysis
CBDistillery’s products are third-party lab tested by ProVerde Laboratories. They test for cannabinoid profile, product shelf life, mold, mildew, fungus, yeast, mycotoxins, heavy metals, residual solvents, pesticides, and other harmful contaminants. Each of their products have a QR code that you can scan to view the test results for individual batches. After reviewing the lab results I did not see any red flags for CBDistillery’s 1,000 mg full-spectrum CBD oil. So you can have some peace of mind knowing CBDistillery offers a safe and clean product.
Appearance, Smell and Taste
CBDistillery’s 1,000 mg full-spectrum oil has a golden appearance to it. Generally, the more processed a CBD oil is the lighter the color will be. Less processed CBD oils tend to be dark brown, gold, or green. It has a faint cannabis smell to it, but it’s not overly pungent. Since there is no extra flavoring, all you can taste is cannabis with very little aftertaste.
I was completely blown away by CBDistillery’s CBD oil. The first time I tried it I took three full droppers, which is about 100 mg of CBD. After a couple of hours, things got very interesting. I felt very euphoric and was extremely relaxed. I just melted into my chair and then later my bed. It’s not recommended to start out with such a large dose though, especially if it’s your first time using CBD. CBDistillery recommends starting with 5-10 mg of CBD, waiting 3-4 hours, and increasing as necessary. Individual results may vary and you may need a different serving size depending on a multitude of factors.
I’ve since dialed my CBDistillery dosage down to around 50 mg. Whenever I take CBD oil, I hold it under my tongue for a good minute before swallowing. There are blood vessels and capillaries under our tongues that are able to absorb the CBD and other cannabinoids. This allows some of the CBD to bypass our liver and digestive system and go straight into our bloodstream.
Price-wise, CBDistillery offers some of the cheapest CBD oils on the market. CBDistillery offers 4 different strengths of full-spectrum CBD oil. As with most CBD oils out there, you pay less per mg the stronger the dose. These are the prices before you use the discount code CBDREVIEWLAB:
- 500 mg: $35
- 1,000 mg: $60
- 2,500 mg: $130
- 5,000 mg: $240
For the best bang for your buck, CBDistillery’s 5000 mg full-spectrum CBD oil comes out to $.04 per mg of CBD when you use the discount code. This makes it one of the cheapest products available on the market per mg of CBD. While you pay more up front, you’re paying less in the long run. If it’s your first time trying CBD though, I recommend starting out with their 500 or 1000 mg CBD oil to see how it works for you. We are all wired differently. How CBD affects one person may be different from how it affects another.
Other CBDistillery Products
Along with their CBD oil, CBDistillery offers gummies, nighttime gummies, capsules, softgels, topicals, vapes, isolates, and pet tinctures.
Will CBDistillery show up on a drug test?
While CBDistillery products come from the hemp plant and is federally legal, it is a full-spectrum product. This means that it contains 100+ cannabinoids, including a small amount of THC (less than .3%). So it’s quite possible you may fail a drug test if you take CBDistillery’s 1,000 mg full-spectrum CBD oil.
If you are subject to drug testing, whether at work or for a sport, you should be cautious with all CBD products.
Ordering, Shipping and Return Policy
You can order CBDistillery products on their website or in select retail stores. I had no issues using their website. It is well designed and very easy to use. As such, I would avoid ordering CBDistillery’s CBD products from retail stores or Amazon.
Since their products contain less than .3% THC, they ship to all 50 states. Unfortunately, they do not ship out of the United States at this time. Orders ship out within 48 hours after a payment is processed. You can expect your product to arrive within seven days depending on the time of year. All orders ship via UPS with top notch packaging. I’ve received various free items with my orders, like stickers, lip balm, and beanies. All products are well sealed and tamper proof. They offer free shipping for orders $75+.
They allow returns for unopened and unused products within 7 days of delivery. Unfortunately, they do not accept returns on any opened or used products.
The only negative thing about CBDistillery is you cannot view their certificate of analysis without first purchasing a product. They offer a general certificate of analysis for each product on their website, but it only analyzes the cannabinoid profile. While all CBDistillery lab results I’ve looked at have all come back clean, it would be nice to know if the product you are ordering contains any harmful contaminants before making a purchase.
How to Contact CBDistillery
Overall, I highly recommend checking out CBDistillery’s full-spectrum CBD oil. Whether you’re an experienced CBD user, or a beginner, it’s a great product. It’s effective and cheap, which are the two main things I look for in my CBD products. On top of that, they are very transparent, which is greatly appreciated in the wild west that is the CBD industry.
